From the Bishop
In times past I have described Cursillo as a "short course in the Christian faith", but I have come to realize that Cursillo is more than an educational tool. It is an experience in Christian community, a tool to help people grow in their faith and find new ways to exercise the ministry which flows from our baptism.
Cursillo draws together people who are seeking a deeper understanding of the Christian faith, the church and the sacraments. Whether you are an active member of the church, semi-active member or hardly active, you will find something to stimulate your spiritual life and your relationship with God.
I attended a Cursillo weekend with several men from the parish where I served in Quebec. We went with some hesitancy. None of us were totally certain this was what we wanted to do. All of us came home inspired and encouraged.
I commend Cursillo and encourage people from the Diocese of Saskatoon to attend the weekend.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Cursillo is simply a method through which one's spirituality may be developed, lived, and shared in any area of human life.
Cursillo is an international movement in the Church. It is believed that by bringing Christ's teachings and example into our everyday situations, with God's help we can change our homes, workplaces, communities, even the world itself. We encourage each other to remain faithful to our Baptismal Covenant through piety, study, and action. The Cursillo Movement is lay directed.
The goal of the Cursillo Movement is to evangelize our environments.
